Pre-sports, neuromotor skills and sensory stimulation

The perception of the world through the senses, movement and sport

Justification

During the first 6 years of life are created and established foundations and neural connections of what will be the neurodevelopment of the person, being necessary a cCorrect sensory and motor stimulation, the basis for the rest of learning. The arrival of various types of stimuli allows the process to take place. calibration of the senses, promoting the construction of the meaning of his body and that which surrounds him, as well as the establishment of relationships, the development of calculation, language, decision making or the need to move or generate movement in response to the stimuli received.
Likewise, movement will not only be necessary to discover our own abilities and limitations, but also the environment that surrounds us, establish spatial and temporal relationships and improve the coordination of our movements.
Promoting situations in which movement and the senses are stimulated in the childhood stage will have a positive impact on Neurodevelopment, on the correct maturation of the nervous, osteo-articular, functional and sensory system and, therefore, on subsequent school performance. .

Goals

1. Favor a space where children can receive a Sensory-motor stimulation according to age.
2. Develop movement patterns appropriate for their age.
3. Improve neuromotor development through activities related to neuromotor skills and the base of different sports.
4. Discover basic notions of different sports.
5. Stimulate a taste for movement and for the exploration as a means of discovery of their abilities and their environment.
6. Optimize the reaction and responses to different types of stimuli.
7. Promote the comprehensive Neurodevelopment of the child, which will benefit you in your learning.

Development
Carrying out the activity has a recreational-educational nature, incorporating mixed activities among which are:

Neurotrophic circuits: for the comprehensive work of gross motor skills, basic movement patterns, general dynamic and visual-motor coordination, balance, turns in different planes and jumps.

Sensory stimulation workshops: In order to promote correct sensory calibration, small workshops will be held where the objective will be sensory development.

Pre-sport: work on basic patterns of different sports without additional elements (running, jumping...), or with them (dribbles, passes, shots on goal, shots at basket...).

When boys and girls leave nursery school at the age of three, or even some with two, there are many doubts that assail us, among them What extracurricular activity is the most appropriate to sign them up for?. In most cases we lean towards cognitive or artistic activities, in others towards sport activities. If you find yourself in this situation, choosing a single sport can become a moment of anguish: individual or team? The one that I have always practiced or the one that I would have liked to practice?
KiddoBrain proposes a project in which to put the child in contact with various sports from the basis of Neuromotricity.

When starting the primary stage Children are still at a time when the Movement plays a fundamental role for your Neurodevelopment, although for many children it is still early to start practicing a regulated sport. That is why, after passing the early childhood education stage, the majority of 5-6 year old children still have not achieved complete motor development, finding themselves in a moment in which they are finishing defining his laterality, his body scheme and the calibration of his senses. For this reason, after working with them on the childhood stage, we believe it is essential continue working with them neurotrophic exercises that, developed in an appropriate way, allow develop maximum potential of each child, reducing future learning difficulties as much as possible.
For this stage of continuation in physical and sports activity, no sport works on body symmetry like the combination of all of them. In this way, working with the basis of a wide variety of psychomotor exercises (running, jumping, turning, somersaulting, climbing and a long etcetera), in combination with the main physical and technical fundamentals From several of the best-known sports, we manage to complete body and brain development for 6-7 year old children.
